2 dollars Niue Czech Lion with hologram proof 1 oz silver
Niue 2 Dollars Silver Coin Czech Lion Hologram Edition
The Czech Mint presents a groundbreaking innovation in precious metal minting: a silver bullion coin featuring a fully embossed hologram across the entire reverse surface. This is not merely a collector's piece it is a feat of modern nanotechnology and artistic craftsmanship.
Issued under license by the island of Niue, this legal-tender silver coin redefines the concept of a bullion issue. While traditional coins rely on relief and sculptural detail, this remarkable piece achieves its striking three-dimensional effect through non-binary holographic microstructures. The design, created by medal maker Asamat Baltaev, DiS., depicts the Czech lion alongside the St. Wenceslas crown and a heraldic eagle—a symbolic fusion of the Bohemian, Moravian, and Silesian emblems. Despite its deeply sculptural appearance, the surface is virtually flat. The illusion is generated by microscopic reliefs measured in nanometres billionths of a metre developed by the Czech advanced technology company IQ Structures, one of only a handful of facilities in the world capable of such precision.
The obverse features a lime branch and a flowing composition inspired by the Czech flag, rendered in classic medal technique. As required by the coin's Niuean issuance, it also bears the national emblem of Niue and a denomination of 2 DOLLARS (NZD).
