This 500 CZK silver coin, issued by the Czech National Bank in 2025, is the final issue in a five-year series dedicated to legendary transport. It pays tribute to the iconic Aero L-39 Albatros, the world's most widely used jet trainer.

Designed by sculptor Zbyněk Fojtů, the coin masterfully captures the aircraft in motion. Its most extraordinary feature is an integrated optical viewing element running through the coin's thickness, visible on both sides and styled as an aircraft's artificial horizon gauge. Remarkably, when a laser pointer is shone through this element, it projects the silhouettes of two Albatross jets onto a wall.
